Foxwoods Resort Casino Location
Foxwoods is located at 350 Trolley Line Boulevard in Mashantucket, CT. The New England resort is approximately 48 miles from Hartford CT (57 mins), 102 miles from Boston (1 hr. and 42 mins.), and 145 miles from New York City (3 hrs.).
Foxwoods Opening Hours and Days
The Foxwoods Hotel is open 24 hours a day. Casino opening hours vary seasonally. Here are a few commonalities:
Foxwoods Restaurants
Those serving breakfast generally open between 6 and 7 am. Dinner is served until 10 or 11pm. Exploring the resorts 30 (or so) eateries is one of the best things to do at Foxwoods.
Casinos
Slots, poker, and table games are generally open between 9am to 1 to 2am; 7 days a week (for bingo, Keno, and Race Book check the Foxwoods website for days and hours).
Tanger Outlets Foxwoods
Generally open 9am to 8pm (with seasonal variations). Shop over 70 stores at Tanger Outlets Foxwoods.
When to Go to Foxwoods
Foxwoods is open 365 days a year. Connecticut is a 4-season New England state, but visits are primarily indoors and not subject to the weather.
How To Get To Foxwoods
By Car: Foxwood Resort is a short distance from Interstate 395 in Connecticut.
By Bus: Charter buses from most major cities in New England run frequent buses to Foxwoods. There is no direct public bus line to the resort.
By Train: Trains from cities along the eastern seaboard run to New London, CT. From here, it is a 20 -minute charter bus or Uber ride to Foxwoods.
Uber: There are Uber pickup and drop-off sites at the Grand Pequot Tower Valet and Great Cedar Garage.
Foxwoods Parking
Parking at Foxwoods is free. There are 4 covered garages: Grand Pequot Tower Garage, Great Cedar Garage, Fox Tower Garage, and Rainmaker Garage as well as many open-air lots (with free shuttles to the casinos). Enclosed handicap parking is available in the Rainmaker garage. RV parking is available in Lot 10.
Foxwoods Legal Gambling Age
The legal gambling age to play table games, slots, Race Book, and keno is 21; the legal age to play bingo is 18. To gain access to the gaming floor, patrons must show proof of age (see Foxwoods website for acceptable forms of identification).

GAMING AT FOXWOODS CASINO
Gaming action at Foxwoods Casino centers around 4 main casinos: The Fox Tower Casino, Grand Pequot Casino/Asian Game Tables, Great Cedar Casino, and Rainmaker Casino. In adjacent zones patrons will find areas for bingo, keno, poker, and specialty casinos. A few perennial favorites are:
Gaming Tables
The gaming floor offers a range of slots and table games such as blackjack, craps, roulette, Baccarat, Pai Gow Tiles, Super 4 Poker, Jackpot Hold’em, and more.
Foxwoods Poker
The Foxwoods Poker Room has limited seating and requires a reservation. There are regular Hold’em and stud games. The room has a schedule of tournaments and set of safety rules.
Foxwoods Bingo
The High Stakes Bingo Hall features around 2,200 seats. The current Foxwoods bingo schedule is Wednesday to Sunday as follows: Matinee – cashiers and doors open at 8am, games begin at 10:30am. Evening – cashiers and doors open at 4pm, games begin at 6:30pm.
Foxwoods Keno
Held in the Rainmaker Casino, the current Keno schedule is Thursday and Friday (10am-8pm), and Saturday and Sunday (10am to 9pm). Patrons can choose to play a straight or progressive ticket. There is a jackpot drawing every 6 minutes.
Foxwoods Draftkings Sportsbook
The two-story, 12,000 square foot Draftkings Sportsbook is the official sports betting partner of Foxwoods. Patrons can place live bets while enjoying a restaurant, two full bars, and wall to wall televisions.
FOXWOODS HOTEL
The Foxwoods hotel is divided into three different establishments attached to the casinos. Guests have around 2,228 rooms to choose from:
Grand Pequot Tower – Offers 23 floors of deluxe rooms and suites located by the Grand Pequot Casino. Inside of the Grand Pequot Tower Hotel, The Villas, offer luxurious accommodations with dedicated butler service and in-room dining.
Great Cedar Hotel – Grand Cedar Hotel rooms and suites are located close to the Great Cedar Casino.
Fox Tower Foxwoods – Offers 23 floors of non-smoking rooms and suites located by the Fox Tower Casino. The Fox Tower Hotel has a 1925 square food Bubly Rainbow Suite with full butler pantry and views of the Connecticut countryside.
FOXWOODS RESTAURANTS
Foxwoods dining runs the gamut from fine dining to quick bites on the food court. Throughout the complex there are over 50 eateries. There are restaurants that serve breakfast (try Junior’s and Caputo’s breakfast buffet), lunch and dinner. A few fan favorites include:
Junior’s Restaurant Foxwoods: Located in the Fox Tower, Junior’s serves a full menu of steak, seafood, and sandwiches (in addition to breakfast). The restaurant is lauded for its fun atmosphere and signature cheesecake.
Hard Rock Café Foxwoods: Positioned by the Rainmaker Casino, the restaurant is themed with rock music memorabilia. The café serves up lots of inventive appetizers, salads, burgers, and drinks. The gift shop with collectibles is also a popular stop.
Guy Fieri Foxwoods: On the casino level of the Grand Pequot Tower, Guy Fieri’s Kitchen + Bar serves a menu with boldly flavored food and drink. Stop in and try the Trash Can Nachos, specialty mac and cheese, sumptuous desserts, and Guy’s signature drinks.
Scorpion Bar Foxwoods: Situated by the theaters, Scorpions Bar serves up Mexican food indoor and on an outdoor patio. Before dinner indulge in a drink. Scorpions boasts over 100 types of tequila and flavored margaritas.
Hell’s Kitchen Foxwoods: Michelin-starred Chef Gordon Ramsey’s restaurant is located by the Grand Pequot Casino. Hell’s Kitchen features food made famous from his hit television show such as beef wellington, craft cocktails, and sticky toffee pudding.
FOXWOODS NIGHTLIFE
At Foxwoods, drinks are free while playing the slots or on the gaming floor. Drinks may not be transported outside of the casino’s gaming floor. There are establishments sprinkled generously throughout the complex where alcohol can be purchased.
Bars and Lounges: A few of the more popular places to gather are the Draftkings Sportsbook, High Rollers Luxury Lanes (bowling alley and floor games), Neon Palm Daquiri Bar, and the Scorpion Bar.
DJs and Nightlife: For night time music and dancing try the Centrale Fox Tower, Shrine, Atrium Bar Lounge, Hard Rock Café, Topgolf Swing Suite, and Draftkings Sportsbook.
FOXWOODS ENTERTAINMENT
Foxwoods keeps a full schedule of shows, concerts, and events. The major entertainment venues are the Great Cedar Showroom and Foxwoods Premier Theater. The resort keeps a robust calendar of musical and comedy acts, fairs, expos, holiday entertainment, movies, boxing, food festivals, and parties.

Tanger Outlests Foxwoods
Stores are located throughout the Foxwoods Casino complex, but the big shopping draw is the Tanger Outlets Foxwoods. The mall has spaces for over 70 premium brand stores. The Tanger retail space is between the Fox Tower and Grand Pequot Tower. Look for brand-favorites such as Nike, Calvin Klein, Gap, Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Levis, Clark’s, and many more.
