Where is Mohegan Sun: Mohegan Sun is within a 3-hour driving distance of four east coast cities: Boston, Hartford, New York, and Providence. The resort is situated a few minutes from Interstate 395 in Uncasville, Connecticut.
Mohegan Sun Opening Hours and Days: The Mohegan Sun hotel is open 24-hours a day. The casino complex is open 365 days a year with varying seasonal hours. Businesses throughout the complex generally come ‘alive’ between 9 and 10am (breakfast restaurants open earlier). Restaurants and shops usually close between 7 and 11pm. The casinos close between 1and 2am.
When to Go to Mohegan Sun: Mohegan Sun CT is primarily an indoor facility that is open throughout the year. July and August are the resort’s busiest months.
How to Get to Mohegan Sun:
By Car: Mohegan Sun CT is located a short distance from Interstate 395. It has a well-paved, 4-lane road leading to the resort.
By Bus: There is no direct bus service to Mohegan Sun. Charter buses from many major cities in the northeast run frequent charters to the resort.
By Train: Trains from locations throughout New England run to New London, CT. From here, it is a 20 -minute uber/taxi/charter bus ride to Mohegan Sun CT.
By Air: The nearest airports to Mohegan Sun are Bradley International (Hartford CT) and Green International (Providence RI). From here you can catch an uber/taxi/charter bus to the resort.
Mohegan Sun Parking: With over 13,000 spaces, parking is plentiful and free at Mohegan Sun. There are covered garages by the Earth Tower Hotel and Sky Tower Hotel as well as many open-air lots (with free shuttles to the casinos). Handicap parking and electric vehicle charging is available at selective locations. Free valet parking is featured at the Mohegan Sun hotel. RV parking is available with a permit.

The Mohegan Sun hotel consists of two on-property resorts; the 34-story Mohegan Sun Sky Tower and the 13-story Mohegan Sun Earth Tower. Combined, the two hotels have a total of 1,563 rooms with around 175 suites, and 5 hospitality suites.
Mohegan Sun Sky Tower rooms have a minimum of 450 square feet, a work desk, and marble bathrooms. Mohegan Sun Earth Tower rooms are around 364 Square feet. Located a bit away from the main action, in Earth Tower’s lobby there is a large outdoor patio with fire pits and the Bean & Vine Café.

The Wolf Den: The Wolf Den is an intimate bar in the center of the Casino of the Earth that offers free performances from entertainers such as Ludacris, the Marshal Tucker Band, and the Gin Blossoms.
Comix Road House: The Comix restaurant and comedy club has a western theme. Entertainment is mixed throughout the week with karaoke, bull riding, and Roadhouse dancers performing on different nights. The venue’s comedy club offers shows Wednesday through Sunday. The menu is full of Texas style food, craft beers, and whiskeys.
